Gwyneth was appointed Wales’s first National Poet from 2005 to 2006.
She has published six books of poetry in Welsh and English, two nonfiction books and three libretti for the Welsh National Opera. She was Poet in Residence at the Physics and Astronomy department of Cardiff University in 2005 and is currently a member of the Welsh Academi. She is also a Fellow of both the Royal Society of Literature and the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts.
